Vice Presidentof the University of San Francisco Visited CUFE Business School

November 2, 2015, Professor Stanley Nel, VP of University of San Francisco and Dr. Jeff Hamrick,Vice Provost at the University of San Franciscovisited CUFE Business School. Professor GeJianxin, Secretary of Party General Branch received the guests. Dr. Wang Yi and Dr. Li Ji, Head and Deputy Head of the Department of Marketing, CUFE Business School attended the meeting.    

 

First, Professor GeJianxin welcomed Professor Stanley Nel and his colleagues on behalf of Professor Wang Ruihua, and made a brief introduction of CUFE as well as the Business School. Then, Professor Stanley Nel introduced University of San Francisco and its master’s program in analytics, and hoped that the two schools would have more communication and seek cooperation. Professor GeJianxinproposed that big data analysis plays a more and more important role in today’s business activities. CUFE is the first university to offer undergraduate program inbig data analytics in China in 2015.ProfessorGeJianxinhoped to share experience and seek cooperation opportunities with University of San Francisco.Dr. Wang Yi and Dr. Li Ji discussed the details of cooperation between the two sides with Dr. Jeff Hamrick.
