6 - 8 June 2021, the New Liberal Arts Development Seminar in Supply Chain Management, co-sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee, Ministry of Education, School of Business, Hunan University, and China LogisticsProcurement Training Center, was held in Changsha, Hunan. More than 50 experts from colleges and universities in the field of supply chain management attended the seminar.
The seminar was hosted by Professor Liu Zhixi from HUST, Vice Chairman of the Logistics Education Committee and Head of the Supply Chain Management Group. Professor Huang Youfang, Vice President of the New Liberal Arts Group and Director of the Logistics Teaching Committee, Professor Zhang Ling, VP of Hunan Industrial and Commercial University, and Mr. Ren Haoxiang, VP of China Federation of Logistics and Procurement attended the seminar and delivered keynote speeches.
Professor Liu Xiaohong, member of the Logistics Education Committee and Deputy Leader of the Supply Chain Management Group, was invited to deliver a speech entitled “Innovation in Supply Chain Management: Rethinking Based on New Business. Professor Liu Xiaohong’s speech had been highly recognized by the attendees.
In 2018, CUFE Business School was approved as one of the first “double first-class” university to set up the Supply Chain Management UG major. The seminar had greatly promoted the development of the Supply Chain Management discipline.
