​Professor Wang Zhen’s paper received the Responsible Research in Management Award and the Saroj Parasuraman Award by AOM

Professor Wang Zhen’s paper“Let’s choose one of each: Using the partition dependence effect to increase diversity in organizations” received the Saroj Parasuraman Award and Responsible Research in Management Award by AOM.

  

Professor Wang Zhen’s paper was awarded 2ndPlace for the Saroj Parasuraman Award.

  

The 2021 Responsible Research in Management Award was co-reviewed by the Fellows Group of the Academy of Management and the Community for Responsible Research in Business and Management. 102 outstanding papers was selected from those published since 2016. 4 Distinguished Winners and 9 Winners were selected. Professor Wang Zhen’s paper was one of the 9 Winners.

  

Professor Wang Zhen’s paper was published onOrganizational Behavior and Human Decision Processesin 2020. the Co-authors came from Renmin University, Curtin University, and Nanyang Technological University. The common research article based on the research findings of the paper, “Research: A method for overcoming implicit bias when considering job candidates”, was previously published on the website of the Harvard Business Review. The article “A Simple Nudge to Boost Diversity” published in the Ideas Watch section of the Harvard Business Review in its November-December 2020 issue also introduced the research findings of the paper.
